3 Health Tips to a New You

3 Health Tips to a New You

Good morning. It is the last week of April so I wanted to give you something to finish the month off right. This Health Tip Thursday will help you establish healthy habits in your life so you can start May off on the right path to health & success.

1) Eat every 3-4 hours

Eat at least 3 meals a day to keep a healthy metabolism. Don’t miss breakfast, it really is the most important meal of the day. Eat every 3-4 hours after that, finishing with dinner. Regular scheduled meals can help you to stop overindulgence and keeps your blood and sugar levels at the right balance.

2) Start a Food Journal

When you begin to keep a daily log of all the food you eat, you begin to be aware of all the calories you are consuming. It will assist you in your diet goals and help to keep you on track.

3) Exercise Regularly A perfect goal to aim for is to hit 30min of physical exercise, 3-5 days a week. If you are new to exercise you can start slow. 30min, 2 days a week, then slowly turn into 3 and finally you can hit 4-5. The benefits of physical activity are numerous but the main ones are; burning off calories, boost confidence and greatly lower stress levels. You will begin to notice your whole attitude will change to a more happy, positive demeanour.
