Follow your Passion
Good morning and welcome back to another Motive Monday.
This Motive Monday is actually very personal to me. I truly believe that everybody has a calling in life or a dream they must follow, especially if they want to live a happy fulfilling life. Life should be filled with joy and excitement not stress and worry. I don't believe people should be forced to wake up everyday grudging the day ahead because they have a job they can't stand, maybe boss that is overly demanding, a friend that is too needing, or a family member that is too overly emotional. If there are things in your life that are just weighing you down and constantly blocking you from achieving your goals in life, then you should do your best to avoid them or remove it from your life all together. Remember your life is worth living and should be lived doing the things that make you happy not by trying to please others or following societies standards just to fit in. I personally battle with this on a day to day. I know life happens and some circumstances are out of our control, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to make life what we want it to be. Thus I try and try hard and believe in God to make a path for me through the fog. That being said for those who don't know I have a full time job along with my art. I am Public Transit Operator for The City of Brampton Ontario for the past 3 years. It is a great government job bringing me in 85K year with full benefits. Not to brag, but yes it was a very secure job (for the most part). Although God blessed me with such an opportunity, everything is for a time and I believe that time has passed for me. Like I said everybody has dream they must follow and creating art is mine. So as of today July 18, 2016 I officially quit my job to follow my Passion and take my art career full-time. I would say, "wish me luck" but I am a hard worker and plus I got God on my side. I hope this Motive Monday inspired you to do what you need to do in your life to make room for your passion.
Have a Great Day! www.EdwardOconnor.com
