I like to take one day out the week to rest, unwind and try my best not to do any work what so ever. It gives my body time to recharge and refocus for the week to come. Billionaire Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft however, takes a full week! Bill reportedly goes on a once a year ThinkWeek to his cabin. In this time Bill plans out his year, thinks of company strategies and reads several books. This puts Bill in a Super Intentional state of productivity. It takes a lot of panning to be as successful as Bill Gates.
2) Mark Zuckerberg
Mark Zuckerberg is the young man in charge of the world phenomena that is FaceBook. Mark is a Billionaire but if you never knew who he was you would walk past him in the streets and not even realize it. Mark keeps it really, really, really simple. When the rest of his employees are pulling in fancy Audis and BMWs this CEO drives a regular Acura. When his business partners are in their million dollar suits, he slips into the same old boring grey T-shirt and jeans. The reason Mark keeps it so simple is because he doesn't want to be distracted from the work he does best and loves. Quote, “I feel like I’m not doing my job if I spend any of my energy on things that are silly or frivolous about my life so that I can dedicate all my energy into building the best products and services.” Simplicity and focus go hand in hand in Mark's world.
3) Elon Musk
Even though I myself am not a big supporter of multi-tasking, Elon Musk doesn't seem to mind it at all. Billion, CEO of SpaceEx, Tesla Motors and SolarCity Elon multi-tasks everyday. He is so efficient in his multi-tasking ability he can, scan invoices, check emails, all while in a meeting, taking care of business while texting on the phone with on of his five kids in his lap. Well when you run 3, billion dollar companies, how can you blame the guy.
